The first pic is very cute. My niece has a pic of her son about the same age with a similar hat on. Very cute.

The first image your lil elf is excellent. Great expression and capture. The second image makes me image the aroma of them as they came out of the oven.
The last image is skewed from the horizontal. You can correct this in PP. All in all a nice job.

Thank you! Having just started with dslr (2 weeks now) from being a point & shoot and not realizing things like composition, lighting, and all the possible settings has been a bit of a challenge; but I'm having lots of fun learning. I've limited myself right now to cropping in post, was playing with other things but with everything else brain going into overload (however, in the one cookie pic I did brush over the background, too much distraction) and was just overthinking and spending too much time. Right now want to focus on getting as much out of the camera as I can then fine tune with post...don't want to get lazy and become dependent on post. Was driving everyone crazy on Christmas Day, captured over 150 pics! Having lots of fun!
