Well, one of my FAV things to do with photos is to make them B & W and add just the right color, so your altered photo is definitely my favorite!!!! NICE WORK!!!! :O)

The original is awesome, too, btw! :O)

Your selective coloring shot is VERY nicely rendered... they BOTH work for me (just depends on the application of the photo, right?)

Unaltered definitely.
The altered one looks kinda funky.
