Just a idea with all the cameras being listed is anyone want to swap camera or cameras? Not looking at this as a money deal, so money people good by. I have cameras I known that I never use again. I writing about film cameras I have. As for digital cameras I too new with them to understand them. But I am open if someone want to explane to me digital camera without all the high teach bs. Like I said it just an idea.

I loan them out to family members. My DSLRs get regular use. When my mirrorless comes it will get the majority of use.

I am happy enough with it that I bought a second one. It feels old school and it is easier for manual operation,but has plenty of tech available if you want to use it - BUT no video.

Also it is important to remember that a film camera is an instrument to expose film (a chemical reaction). A digital camera is a computer with a lens attached. Ease of use depends upon how much you are willing to learn how to use this different form of a computer.

If any of you with large collections get to California, in downtown Riverside there is a museum that used to be just for photography but that is now called UCR Arts. It has a collection of old and some newer cameras. It is a part of the University of California Riverside. The permanent exhibit in the back has lots of old interesting cameras.
