Yesterday afternoon my brother and & I were blessed with the "Golden Hour". I was fortunate to get this shot of MH Falco.
Nikon D7100
70-300MM Nikon, first edition VR
ISO 400
1/1250 sec

Great ending to a beautiful Christmas with my family.

Great shot! I used to have a Golden that I couldn't keep out of the water. I have a shot of him w/ ice in his chest hair. My daughter brought home a Yellow Lab and she went swimming the other day (36 degrees) but she's not as dedicated as the Golden. Merry Christmas. Gary

The close-up (crop) tells us all we need to know - fantastic story of joy!

Thanks Gary. I had a golden that I hunted ducks with. Had to hold him out of the water. His coat was icing up, but wouldn't quit retrieving.
