Excellent, we will see we don't need the government, a libs greatest fear that all will see life goes on with a shutdown and their lives are even better.

Trump can't keep the government closed. But House Republicans can continue to do so. The markets will tank, the economy will crumble, and 2020 will destroy the Republican party for good.

I think that sounds pretty good.
In a few days the house will be controlled by the democrats so the closedown, by your definition, will be wholly owned by the democrat house.

Good luck flying when TSA employees get fed up with working without pay.
Just one small example. Not that it would do any good, I could point to thousands of examples.

Wait...Trump said we was proud of the shut down, remember? Your side owns this....lock, stock and two smoking barrels.
Plus, in another post on this very thread you implied that the shutdown would improve peoples lives. So, in your "logical" construct, then Democrats shold get the credit, right?

Well, the House will likely pass the Senate CR. But then Trump has promised to veto it, which would then require a 2/3 v**e by the House and Senate to override it. The Senate passed the CR 71-21, so they should override a Trump veto (assuming the Republican senators are not afraid to do so). But getting an override from the House? Are there enough Republicans with spine to do that? Beats me.
At any rate; the shutdown would still be wholly owned by Trump. As it should be, since he took it on in public.
