Ad says 5 lb but even so!
Yeah, 5 pounds. Guess my 6 pound crystal orb will have to wait for a stronger hook...

2 hooks working in tandem might work. 5 + 5 = 10 lbs.

Wow! How did I do that? Give me a while to think up a good excuse.
On the other hand, I doubt I'd be hanging a 5 lb ornament on a tree.

Didn't use a hanger for the wayward finger?
I would like to see a 5 lb ornament.
All ours are in the couple of oz range.
5 lb would bend the small branches to the floor.
Use 2 hooks for your globe.

EDIT: I wrote "50" originally, so I changed the "50" to "5".
I have edited a lot of posts after discovering a mistake I made. Should I be explaining what the error was when I do edit something?
How many would it take to suspend the entire tree?
My wife purchased that item. Do you notice the tangle of hooks? That's no exaggeration. These things are so intricately intertwined, it takes about 1 minute to untangle just one, for use. I finally just pulled one enough to unbend it (I guess I must have applied more than 5 pounds of pressure!) and bent it back to shape once I pulled it loose.
