Snapbridge... Again

If I don't use my camera and phone for a while, i.e. pairing Snapbridge, my d5600 and Snapbridge don't connect. My only solution is to uninstall Snapbridge, and reinstall it, then it pairs fine, but it's a great nuisance to have to do that all of the time. Anyone else have this problem, and have you found a shortcut to getting camera and Snapbridge to pair?

It’s a pain in the butt. Poor design and implementation. Nikon should have released a software fix long ago. Some people can make it work, and I can MAKE it work, but it is about as unintuitive and confusing as it could possibly be.

Fool proof solution.
Uninstall Snapbridge crap app from phone.
Remove memory card
Insert into PC or Mac attached card reader
Transfer files to proper Folders
Easy peasy.
PS: Snapbridge is never, ever going to work the way you want. Plus, leaving WiFi, Bluetooth, etc ON is a needless drain on your battery.

I know all this, thank you anyway,...but I am wanting to use Snapbridge! I thought maybe someone found a shortcut to help it pair more easily. I do like to download 2MB files to my phone, and I do like the ability to upload them or send them on the "snap", without having to wait till I get home to do what you suggest.

Actually I have used Snapbridge numerous time with my D500 and D850 and my Android phone and it worked very well. I have assisted customers with connecting Snapbridge to Apple phones and tablets and it a whole different story there. Real PITA using Apple with Nikon. Never used a D5600 with any device though.
Nikons Snapbridge controls the Bluetooth and WiFi, they are off until Snapbridge activates them so no worries about power drain at all, no matter what some may want you to believe.

I also have a d500 and a tab 4 samsung. All works great as it should take pictures and uploads to snap bridge within minutes. Then I share the pictures with either email or put them all right in dropbox. Very easy for me.

I feel your pain. Although I don't uninstall/reinstall Snapbridge, sometimes I:
1. In iPhone > Settings > Bluetooth, delete the camera
2. In iPhone > Snapbridge, tap 3 dots at top right > Forget camera > Delete your camera.
Then, you're essentially starting fresh.
For me, this is no guarantee of success. It seems that Snapbridge can normally establish a Bluetooth iPhone-Camera connection, but Snapbridge can't then reliably connect/reconnect via WiFi. Since it sometimes connects, this is not a WiFi encryption/password issue. Perhaps, it's related to the position of the planets!

I tried this method, and it didn't work. So far, every morning before I take photos, I check to see if camera and phone are paired. If not, I've found, the only way to make it pair is to uninstall then reinstall Snapbridge. So far, I've done this at least a dozen times. Then it keeps the connection all day long. The problem seems to arise when u don't use my camera for a few days.

Do a serach on the forum for Snapbridge and you'll see what others have experienced, some good information on how to make it work, and some wrong information that won't help you.

I can't comment on your issue, but for the Snapbridge, I have had no problems pairing to my D500 and have never had to go through any acrobatics to get it working so I can only assume that there is something else going on here.

Hey use the camera every day then it will keep working and you will have fun and get better at using the camera. ;)

Sorry, but I have NEVER had a problem connecting my iphone and D5600 either to transfer pics or to use as remote shutter release. Not possible that I got the only compatible devices in existence.
