You might be able to get a copy of Lightroom 6, used and transfer ownership. I believe that it supports your camera. If you get a newer camera, you can use a DNG converter to change your RAW to DNG.
Photoshop Elements is also a very good program. The new version is on sale right now.
There are many other programs, but I have had great success with Lightroom and Elements.
