Nothing to be sorry about, you had much more pressing things to take care of. Glad your home and resting a bit. The challenge has some pretty awesome monochrome images. Enjoy viewing!

I am and I added a few, even though I'm a day late to the party..

Thank you all for your wonderful shares in the "Christmas Free For All" I've been away from my Computer for the last several days and haven't been able to post or even view others posts, My Husband Verlin was taken by ambulance to the Hospital on the evening of the 26th, He was transferred from National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs after a diagnosis of Pneumonia to The Mcclellan VA in Little Rock, He was released from there Late Yesterday afternoon, and I've either been at work, in route to the VA Hospital, or at the VA Hospital until last night when we got Home..I'm sorry to be so late with updates with The Calendar...I have yet to add Katspangle and Dane to the Calendar.
Thank you all for your wonderful shares in the &qu... (show quote)

Glad u r both OK. Pneumonia can really make a person very ill.

The surrender of Nazi Germany in May, 1945, did not free the German people, because the Military Occupation was governed by harsh rules forbidding crowds and gatherings. The Americans eventually permitted the resumption of traditional festivals. I believe this meager little gathering in December, 1947, was the first post-war Christmas Fair allowed in Frankfurt am Main. I climbed into the ruins of the "Römer" in order to get an elevated perspective. Although it's a grim photo, it was also a hopeful step toward resuming a normal life style.
