Merry Christmas, Bob. Should I assume that the grain/texture was for an effect?
Hi, Fred. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Some of the grain was added when the emulsion was coated on the film base by Ilford. Some of the "texture" is actually rain falling in the distance. Thanks for the wishes and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Bob, Fantastic photo and the small white border reminds me of the tray I would put my paper in prior to processing the negative to the paper. First time I remembered that tiny white border. I also love the B&W as you know.
Merry CHRISTmas

Great image with equally nice processing Bob.
Andy, Greg, John, and Bill, thank all of you for stopping by and the nice comments.
Greg, that's where that border came from. Some habits are hard to break.

An excellent photograph Bob. I really like the clouds above looking somewhat like a Monet painting while the mountains are clear and sharp. Very well done sir.
Have a Merry Christmas,
Dennis
Thanks, Dennis. There was a good bit of rain falling from those clouds. Thanks for the Christmas wish and the very same back to you and yours.
