That's one of my favorite views. But it's so hard to turn away from the Canyon to see all the lovely landscape that surrounds her.

Thanks for the visit, AzPicLady. The view towards the canyon was not all that spectacular at that moment. I was hoping for a sunset, but the clouds were just not cooperating. Additionally, they were doing controlled burns and that had the potential for some very nice light rays through the clouds, but that wasn't happening, either. Thus, my turn and look behind me moment.

Someone told me a long time ago that, when shooting a sunrise or sunset, don't forget to turn around and see what's behind you. You have certainly proved the point!!
