Trust me you get what you pay for with a safari! You want a photo tour with guides and drivers that know what they are doing. I just returned from Kenya and without the drivers who knew the animals behavior, where to go to position the vehicle, you will not get the photos you want. I’m not wealthy and the trip was a stretch for me, but worth every penny! I now know things that are must haves on a safari! I have posted many photos from my recent trip to give you an idea on what photos you can get. Most on my trip had lenses that cost more than all my gear! I only had a Canon 5D MIV with Canon 100-400 with extender. No large prime or 2.8 glass and still got good photos. All I can say is go!
