A variety of processing - from faithful to fanciful. Here are a few of my impressions over the years. Feedback welcomed!

Landscape or documentary?

I really like the processing on the 3rd and the fade away of the first. What type of trees need these heaters?

The orderly rows of well maintained trees remind me of the vineyards in wine country. The one with the ladder brings my imagination into play. Did he/she just take a break or did they just forget the ladder. The ladder adds a great deal to the image. I also like your flight of fancy with the colored apples. It works very well here. I also like your idea of visiting the same location on different occasions to capture a different perspective. I enjoyed your orchard tour very much, Linda.

Glad you enjoyed, Paul! #1 is either apricots or cherries, I always forget - and the leaves look amazingly similar on many of the fruits, including peaches. But the first to blossom are apricots. And there is often loss due to late freezes (the heaters aren't needed until buds emerge). There are two other ways of protection: spraying with water to coat the buds and using wind machines to keep the air stirred.

More than you asked for, I know

Thanks so much, Sue. It occurred to me last winter that the remaining ripe apples on trees look like Christmas tree ornaments, so that's where I went with #4. I'm delighted you enjoyed!

Thank you very much, John. I'm so glad you enjoyed! I always wonder about the ladder "stories" too

Thank you all. It was every bit as cold as I portrayed with that pp, and it wasn't just the trees anxiously awaiting spring

I like the third and first, in that order.
