I got a lot of scammers right after I listed all the stuff I'm selling. As long as you can recognise the scammers and deal with them it's not that bad. What they usually do is text you back or email you and first they ask if you still have the item. Then they tell you that they are willing to pay full price if you will let the pay using PayPal. Never Never Never take Paypal when using CL. One person asked me if they could see if I am for real by sending me a code and then sending a text with that same code back. No Way! I tell ALL of the that I only take cash, and I only meet them in person. Cash and Carry. No exceptions. I suggest you do the same. I don't know how they do it, but somehow when you say you'll take PayPal, they pull one over on you. Maybe they send a link to a phony PayPal, then you think it's the real deal and you try to log in with your password and they have a thing that captures your keystrokes. Then they have your password. I'm just guessing. But don't do it. Just take cash. Cash and Carry. I usually meet someplace like Starbucks. Since you are female, you might want to bring a friend.

Good luck with your sales. I'm selling a Sigma lens for a friend and got a lot of response today but I'm out of town and they'll have to wait till I get home. Just the way it is. You as a seller are in charge. Remember that. Also, if you get a big response, you probably have it priced a little on the low side. I usually look at completed listing on eBay and see what the same thing is selling for on CL.
