I got a number of beautiful pix at Penn State when I went to pick my son up at the end of the semester. I was using point and shoot Nikon s8100, and somehow braincramped and ended up with this awful date stamp. I was able to crop it out of a lot of the pix, but not this one. Any suggestions?

since nothing near the date stamp is vital or adds to the photo, i would crop itjust to the right of the date stamp.

Look for a 'Free' program called "InPaint" that is designed to removed date stamps, etc. I does an automated cloning to remove it. Depending on the photo can be very good, or at least it is the first step to cleaning it up.

if you have CS5, use the magic wand and select the orange on the time stamp, go to select>> modify and expand by one, then go to edit>> fill and use content aware. The time stamp goes away and you can't tell it was there.

With Adobe Photoshop CS5 extended, Go to quick selection tool, circle part you want to delete. then click edit- click fill. Then click select and the deselect. keep doing this until all items you want to remove are gone. Work in small amounts to remove each time for best results. If you remove too much you can use the history tool to put what ever you removed back. You can also go to edit and click step backward to remove the last change you made.

Remember on most new cameras the date and time are embedded in the data info to pull up later on your computer. It takes some work to erase print dates. It is time comsuming, but easy with Photoshop or PS Elements.

Not bad, but the windows are messed up in between those columns.
