First of all I must say that I am enjoying this section of UHH. Landscapes are one of my favourite subjects and I often stitch several vertical (portrait) images together to create panoramic views. I captured the following images during a recent holiday in South Australia. The Flinders Ranges extend for over 430 km (265 miles) in the mid north of South Australia from Port Pirie on Spencer Gulf in the south to Lake Callabonna, a normally dry salt lake in the Strezelecki Desert to the north.
The top end of Spencer Gulf near Port Augusta with the Flinders Ranges in the distance almost obscured by low cloud on a cold gloomy morning. Nikon D7500, 16-35mm f4.0 lens, 10 vertical images, hand held, ISO 100, f8.0, 32mm (48mm equivalent FOV).

I like how the Cypress Pines contrast with the gum tree and purple hues of the distant ranges. Nikon D7500, 16-35 f4.0 lens, ISO 100, f8.0, 19mm (28mm equivalent FOV), 1/500 s.

The fading light as we approached the west side of the ranges seemed to enhance the variations in the colours of the ranges. Nikon D800, 70-200mm f4.0 lens, 4 images hand held, ISO 220, f11.0, 165mm, 1/350 s.
