B&W or Color for this seen?

I think the story here is starkness and B&W is appropriate.

I prefer the color photo, but which ever you choose, the picture looks as if it may be tilting to the right. You may want to straighten it out.
What do you want to convey? B&W for the solitude; color for the beauty of the scene.
Points well taken, always appreciate the comments. I have addressed the level issue, I believe.
The blue on the snow mandates color!
I like the B & W version of this scene the most.
I hope you don't mind B&W. I did this change in Apple photos. There are many views of the same subject.

Thanks for putting up your version, very different for sure.

I like both. The blue cast in the shadow of the color photo gives it a slight edge IMHO.
I've always had a problem with this in deciding.... I like both in this instance.
To me, the color shot gives the impression of cold. The B&W is just a forlorn shot. Can't tell if the B&W is water or land.

I like both, different moods, slight preference to the color.

Long Shadow, that's what got me here in the first place, I guess you and I will have to sit this one out.
Thank you all for your opinions, they are all appreciated.
