Visited the Battleship Iowa,birthed in LA,last weekend.This ship is the sistership of the battleships Missouri and Wisconsin.She distinguished herself in battle in WW2,Korea,and Vietnam.

Dreadnaught refers to something very large and fearsome.

Dreadnought is one hell of great name ----
However the actual name was for the very 1st truly modern style Battleship built by the Brits.
