Very well done! That's quite a fancy flower in the fourth shot. vz
Thanks for the kind words, VZ and we purchased the blue passion from a local source in the spring of 2017 and later in the summer if blessed us with many blooms. The downside is that a bloom lasts only about a day or a little longer but this blue one had multiple flowers on many days! The tag attached to it stated that it was good to down into the mid-twenties so I assumed that lower than that the roots would be killed but now have some doubts. I waited hoping it would emerge this spring but when it didn't I dug it up and planted something else, but then several feet away one emerged and had numerous blooms late into the fall so not sure it emerged from roots or from a seedling from last year as several have sprouted quite a distance from the original plant, but the only one that bloomed this season was the plant closest to the original one! Hope you and family have a great Holiday and take care!

So true, Ken and I probably have enough to last for many weekly posts but would put the intended ones off because something else would come along to post and I would almost forget about my former intention. Now looking back some were probably more worthy than the ones I posted. I'm slow and especially by the time I finished looking at many other peoples great posts, I sometimes just didn't have enough left to continue! I would guess that this situation is similar to many of us!
Thak care and hope that you guys have a great Christmas!

And I'll be glad when those warmer days are back... not including hurricanes!
Absolutely beautiful images, Corky, and the sight of those lovely 4 o'clocks certainly does bring on a hard case of nostalgia!
Thanks, Donna for your very kind words and I'm with you on those warmer days minus the hurricanes. I'm sure you would have laughed when I was attempting to take the 4 o'clock image as I had never taken an image in the dark so was just using the built-in flash along with a flashlight to locate the flowers so I then aimed the camera by hand, cut the flashlight off and tried to keep the camera directed at the flowers as I snapped the image hoping that the camera was still pointed correctly and after some experimenting managed to find the flowers and using a suitable f-stop made the image!
Take care and hope that you guys have a great Christmas.
