I thought I'd put up a series of photos that used a very small crop from a landscape. So, for your viewing information, here is the original (full frame sensor), the Photoshop crop and sharpen, and the AI at 400%.
Does excellently considering how small the sample was.
Impressive!
What is Topaz AI Gigapixel?
Latest generation in advanced image resizing software. Uses artificial intelligence that supposedly has learned from programming exposing it to multiple pictures to render an accurate picture. Pretty cool, really. As always, the more resolution, clearer the shot, and more available information the better the result. This shot, as can be seen was produced from an extremely small sample of the total picture. I do a lot of rapid street shots and, as such, crop to present the context I'm focused on.
I have been using for a while now . Love the program over others , even my Photoshop .Tommy
I bought Ai Clear a month ago, and love it!
So I did a little combined image with your two photos and my with Ai Clear made from your image published here.
If all is equal in my comparing I might have to get the Gigapixel! :-)
I shot a lot of my early digital photos at 1 or 2 mp jpeg. Several of them are good enough to blow up and print, so I'm also considering this program. Thanks for posting, great example of its abilities.
Will have to try the program

Thanks for this comparison. I am definitely going to check out AI Gigapixel.
Do be cautious and look carefully at system requirements. Your video card is pretty important...unless, of course, you possess a lot of patience.
Be well, all.

Topaz currently has a 25% off sale on all of their software. AI Clear is really worth the price. Topaz Studio with ten adjustments is totally free. However, it is very demanding on systems particularly the graphics so check their website for system requirements.. Suggest you download Studio first and make sure your system can run it.
Thanks for the helpful reply. I didn’t think of doing that.
