We were watching the movie, "Mowgli, Legend of the Jungle" the other evening and I caught Fletcher intently watching a scene depicting the pack of wolves. I took this snap with my iPhone. Just thought it was a cute scene. I know, it's not vertically and horizontally aligned due to the angle I took it at, I guess. I had to be quick, and the iPhone was probably not held at the right angle.

Not quite the Christmas Card as your photo, Our Beagle puppy loves watching dogs and cats on TV. Our other dogs could care less.

That's funny. One one hand you have the puppy quite involved, and the other dog, as you say, could care less. Great shot.

Yes, That is Sherlock , He's 17yr old and sometimes the 6 month old puppy is too much. I wish we had met when I lived in Wasilla back in the 80's. We could have shared a lot of photo knowledge.

Have a great Christmas, I hope that there will be snow for the Iditarod this year.

Seems I was very busy taking drunk drivers off the roads back then. Yeah, it would have been fun to meet up.

Ah, the bad old days. About 1985, somewhere along the Iditarod trail. Some of my best memories and photos were flying for the Iditarod.

Didn't they call it "The Iditarod Air Force" or something like that? And they're still doing that now.

Iditarod Airforce. Yes, there were about a half dozen of us. That was "real" flying. No GPS, just map reading. I loved flying all over the state. I consider myself a lucky man. I was liveing in the Great State of Alaska and teaching Photography at the University. My dream job in a dreamy place. Not many people I know can say.... "I lived and worked my dream".

Nope, Philo's Field isn't there anymore. You'd never recognize it now. This place has really changed over the years. We were amazed when we moved back here in 2012.

By the way, I don't fly anymore either. Sadly.

I'm sure it has all changed a lot. Sorry that you don't fly either anymore. Last year I looked at Google Maps at Prince William Sound and no longer recognized College Fjord. I use to fly through there a lot, visiting friends in Cordova. I did not recognize it since the glaciers had melted so much. And to think someone in Washington says there is no global warming. As usual, Alaskans know better.

Thanks, Don. Some of the best ones are the ones that suddenly happen.
