This is just a common cheese grater that excels in slicing and dicing human fingers. It should grate hard cheese, or citrus zest along with shredding cheese. Instead, it gives profits to the makers of band aids.

Should be out shredding a snow covered slope, but this is for shredding cheese

Ain't that the truth!! However, apart from shredding cheese, it lends itself to interesting close up pictures!

If you use the grater in the second photo for nutmeg, rather than orange peel, you'll have much more success including your fingers, considering that nutmegs have a lot smaller area to hang on to than oranges or lemons.
Photography-wise: Many years ago I took a whole series of close-ups of common items, had the pictures printed and used them for a game: Guess what this is! Always went over well with the teen-age crowd.

Nutmeg is just the thing for eggnog or pumpkin pie, but not where orange zest is needed.

Maybe a few prints for guess the item as a basis for the New Year drinking game. Guess wrong, have to down a shot.

Great shots of an uncommon view of a common kitchen tool.

Interesting presentation, interesting ideas. Too bad I'm to old for the drinking party.

Find Frank Zappa's Dangerous Kitchen. Enjoy a twisted mind.

Maybe not quite twisted enough. Sometimes a warped view is entertaining.

Well, maybe you can use iced tea. Same color as the hard stuff. No one would know.
