... rather than a photograph. It looks to me that this was an exceptional photo that got "cooked" just a tad too long (at least on my monitor). I love everything about it but the over saturation bothers me a bit, IMHO.

I see this as art - I'd be interested to see the original image, too, just out of curiosity. but this version is a great depiction of sun vs shade. That's the beauty of digital - you can carry out your own artistic vision.

Great shot. I’m not convinced this is oversaturation, as opposed to great morning light against a pure steel gray backdrop.
