An afternoon on Mount Desert Island in Maine

Because Saturday, 12/15/18, was such a lovely day, with temperatures in the mid-40s, lots of sunshine and little wind, I headed to Mount Desert Island to visit and photograph several of my favorite spots. I began in Somesville photographing the Monet bridge and then moved on to photograph the Bass Harbor Lighthouse, especially the beautiful wooded walkway leading to the lighthouse. Next, I photographed a small cove in Bass Harbor located close to Route 102A and finally I drove to Seal Cove in Tremont to photograph an area near the public boat launch. I hope you enjoy looking at the photos. -Paul
