I think we are scuppered with our weather and sadly those dingy days mean no cloud formation.

If this is a one off visit to Stonehenge then any picture is better than no picture. I think the stones look nice, I'm not sure about the focus suggestion but I might have considered cropping out some of that grass but that is a personal choice.

I would crop in closer and remove a chunk of that grass and the peripheral stuff to the left and right of the stones.

I think it turned out well, considering weather conditions. It might look good in B&W.

I had a go at cropping the image but am not convinced it was an improvement but I do know your shot is definitely not out of focus :)

Folks that are well versed in the black arts of Photoshop would possibly be able to insert a decent sky in place of the non existent one and I totally accept it was a dull, featureless 'yukky day :)

Thank you for your comment but to me on my monitor it is tack sharp.

This is another image, same day and to be honest I don't believe in putting a sky in which wasn't there on the day, just my opinion.

I don't think the picture was out of focus. I will call it a soft focus. I cropped it and added a little color saturation to it.

I like them. When I visited Stonhenge in the mid 80's the weather was also terrible. Cood windy and rain.

i agree. Judging from the bigger version of the photo I edited, somebody that was in the photo on the left side had an umbrella.
i ask the poster---was it raining that day you took the photo?

Totally, 100% agree and a photograph to me is a record of an event  but others disagree and respect to them for their opinions.

I still don't think you image has 'soft focus'.. I think it is a photograph of a historical site.

Your second post is by coincidence more in line with my observations and this was the crop without seeing what you had taken.

There are some blown out parts and not enough contrast in the stones (IMHO). Sharpness is good. Here's my 2 cents.
