This is what we use to "completely stop squirrels" from getting in our bird feeders. We have used them for the last 20 (+) years with complete success. Try a hardware store, a feed store, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. They are made out of plastic and are very reasonably priced ($10.00 +- each). Since we first put them up, we have not had "any" squirell problems in our bird feeders at all.

I agree but they will eat every thing in site.

I cut the bottom out of a 2 liter soda bottle and slide it down the rod or cable to sit on top of the feeder (I use the round type tube feeders) and when they try to drop down to the feeder there is nothing to hold on to, and they slip right past the feeder perches...works well and cost is zilch. It is fun to watch them try to win, but they rarely catch one of the perches, so mostly just fall to the ground (my feeders hang from tree limbs, so they try to slide down from above. The soda bottle method would also work for a pole mount feeder, just turned bottoms up.

I'm sure it works great, I've used flashing formed into a cone for years works great.
