I just received my copy of the new Library Version of Luminar 2018! Luminar distributed copies to Canadian and Australian Luminar users a few days ahead of the world-wide release date of December 18, 2018. WOW! This new and improved (across the board) version is amazingly intuitive and easy to use. It provides an overwhelming set of tools, “looks” and options that are a breeze to master, understand and utilize. This version is lightening fast on my Mac and a real pleasure to use. I only wished I wasn’t travelling so I could really delve into it.
Cheers!

Which would be the better choice for someone who has never used any PP software other than Picasa3; Photo Shop Elements 2018 or Luminar Libraries 2018? That someone would be me and my well aged & used brain. ;~)

I’d go with Luminar--it’s pretty powerful.

All are good! I am switching to Luminar over the last year. With the new library function it has what I need. It is very fast, intuitive, inexpensive with no subscription, has a full library data management component, and offers me much faster processing with much, much more time to enjoy my work vs. working on it. Cheers!

Hi British Columbia, I use to work for Air Canada when I wore heels...Some best years of my life back then...

I just love this comment!!! It is sooooo very true for me, I really enjoy my work when I only have to process very little. It is a great satisfaction to just tweak very little.

I have owned Luminar for more than a year but hardly used it because it hasn’t had a library function. I’ve been very pleased with editing results and am counting the days until December 18.

Same here. Excellent results when I used it, but very cumbersome without the library features. Cannot wait.

Without a doubt, Luminar. I used Photoshop Elements for years and recently switched over to Luminar 2018. Much easier to use. I can edit faster and more fully. Saving time is a big plus for me. It has a built in Artificial Intelligence engine, so with a couple clicks of their AI filters much of the work is done. Then you can just tweak away with more than 50 slider filters. And right now it’s just 49 bucks using discount code DANBAILEY at checkout. How can you beat that?

I heartily recommend Luminar. I read the manual and found it easy to navigate and very powerful.

Congrats! If you’re a YouTube watcher, view tutorials by Jim Nix on Luminar. They’re excellent!
