My wife and I went to Ft. Worth to watch my grandson play hockey and I rented a Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G for my D7000 to take some pictures. Sure liked the lens (it's a little heavy), but I'm afraid it's out of my budget range for now. My grandson is playing in the NA3HL, a Tier III junior league (players 16-20 years). He's one of the few 16-year olds in the league.
