I think corgis are the perfect canine pet, and while I like both Cardigans and Pembrokes, I've owned three Cardigans. They are loving, intelligent, not too large but act like a large dog, and make great family dogs. Here are pictures of my last two, which we got just a few months apart. The tricolor older one house trained the puppy, so we never had to do that. They grew old together and were somewhat competitive but great friends. They were great companions to us and I still miss them.

I'm sorry for your loss, and your's were beautiful. My good friend has two Pembrokes that are just the sweetest girls, they are fluffies, which you don't see very many of, but as you mentioned, they are great little dogs, and have the sweetest faces. Thank you for sharing your memories with us.

He really was beautiful! Do you see any more in the future for you? My house is full right now, but I wouldn't mind having one. They are so sweet and my friends girls LOVE everyone

For the time being, no. I’m caring for my deceased fiancé’s dog. I also want to do some traveling, etc. Maybe later. jak
