Braving the heat.

The summer tanager breeds from southern California east to Florida and north to Middle USA. Colors seem to vary in different parts of the States. Here, we see them in patches of red and yellow. The shot of the man on the windmill was a challenge shot. Just to see if I could do it with out washing everything out. This guy must be a Hero. 105 degrees near mid-day. I would not do this for any amount of money. Besides, what do I know about fixing a broken windmill.

When it's 105 degrees and the windmill is the only source of water you can learn windmill repair very quickly. Judging by the blur of the blades he did just fine. And you, good composition and story telling. Glad you shared the shot with us.
