Every year, chocolate chip cookies get baked for Christmas. There's one problem with that. The cookies have to be hidden from sight so as not to be tempted. Yeah, right. That works like a charm.

Reminds me, our daughter comes home for the holidays next week and I need to get the stuff to make home made biscuits, chocolate chip cookies, cornbread and chili.
Bacon, sausage, ham, scrambled eggs, biscuits, strawberry jam and country gravy - a Dad made breakfast. Then chili with cornbread/biscuits for lunch and/or dinner and chocolate chip cookies for....well....just because.

Tom, the cook has to have some fun hiding them from you knowing you will find them.

OMG. If you weren't so far away, I'd be at your doorstep begging for a meal. I can almost smell it.

Greg
Greg, I'm the cook! (baker, in this case).
Thank you, Donna. Believe it or not, I actually put these cookies back in the container after I finished taking their picture.
Tom, Please stop tempting me with the cookies.

Our daughter is flying from the University of Virginia Medical School to get some home spoiling. I do the Southern Western Kentucky) and Mom does the Mexican American goodies (born in East Los Angeles).
Did you have a lot of snow in the storm? Jasmine got her first introduction to driving in the snow and the university told everyone who lived close enough to leave their cars parked and walk home because of all the spin outs etc.
So she did a video on Face Book of her 4 block walk with vehicles and the other pedestrians doing the "slippery sidewalk waltz" and then she spotted her hair "frosting". Southern California born and raised young lady who only saw snow when we drove up to the mountain ski areas or flew to the Mid West to visit my family for Christmas.
