So, it was Easter Sunday, 2010, and we got this email from a neighbor that had this young kitten found abandond in a shoebox on a local beach in San Diego. Then it happened: we had a pretty good earthquake later that day and my wife said; let's go get that kitty. The rest is history, she's the love of our life and still healthy, active and kickin' other dog's butts. This is only chapter 1, stay tuned, more to follow later. And a big thanks to UHH member, treepusher (a veternarian) that said she was a Van cat from Turkey and also hetrochromatic (two different eye colors). chase
P.S. She has normal hearing.
The original offering photo, who could refuse?

She liked to play in the dog's toybox

So soon Jewell and our rescue lab, Fern, became best buddies

What a beautiful kitten, I think I would have had her had she been over here...
She would have matched my Blue as he has two different colored eyes...
It's the first time that i have seen eyes like that on a cat....sweet.
