My favorite time to photograph is early morning foggy days, inclement weather. Its peaceful and usually no one is there to "offer advice". I actually need all I can get.
I really don't have a lot of self confidence in what I do in photography, just photograph what I like that catches my eye.
Here is a tree off Credit Island in Davenport, IA. March 1, 1997
Tech info: Hasselblad 500c, 80mm lens
Kodak T-Max 400
Exposure not recorded (long forgotten).
I try to post in "Photo Gallery", but photos don't seem to get there.
Might some one tell me what I'm doing wrong? I click on "Photo Gallery" to post there.
Beautiful work! You made it to "Photo Gallery" this time.
Wow! Quite a shot. That poor tree. :(
Nice, an interesting shot
Very pleasing in its simplicity.
You are probably referring to the daily digest which includes only about 1/3 the topics posted to Photo Gallery every day. You have created 4 topics to date; all are in Photo Gallery.

btw, each specialty forum has its own guidelines, located at the top of their home pages. Some may be of more interest to you for offering feedback and conversation.
This is a very striking image. I love its simplicity. I really like the almost gradient quality, moving up from darkest to lightest in the background.

Thanks to all of you for your help and input. Your comments want me to go out and make more images.
What a wonderful shot. Well done!
Gorgeous. An essay on why black and white is relevant.
Beautiful image - well done!
That is a beautiful image, MLein! A contest worthy one, and a definite wall hanger!
