Today was another nice day, cold, but otherwise nice. What else to do but go after some snow geese. Here is a selection of a few shots that I got of them.
Enjoy them but don't look up.

OH..I remember the book. The Snow Goose" about the evacuation at Dunkirk. a real tear jerker.

It amazes me that this huge group can fly without crashing into one another. New York car traffic should learn from this.

I hunted them with a 12ga religiously for years. Now a camera instead. No loss changing gears

WOW, Great shots. It looks like you got right in the middle of the migration flight.
Wham121736 poses a good question, how do so many fly together and knock smack into each other. Have you ever seen starlings at sunset right before they roast, same question.

It seems to me that there must be collisions but I’ve not seen any.

These are superb. Clear and sharp. I've seen large flocks many times. You have done them justice with these images.

Great photos also used to hunt them with a shotgun but now want to with a camera. Where were these taken?

No, this is at Bombay Hook, De. Chino Teague is too far for me to day trip.
