Do not know where to post this, but I am desperate. Non photo question. Bought a new iPhone XR on monday and on tues I was trying things out. I have been locked out of Facebook/messenger on the phone and Facebook on my iPad. Facebook said I signed in on a device they didn’t recognize. Have tried resetting password numerous times and the passwords they send and the codes do not work. I get an error message. Cannot locate a working phone number nor an email address. Can anyone please help. I am desperate to retrieve my “saved” info. Beagle mom AKA Vicki

What you have done is called thread hijacking. You should post you question in a new thread. Having said that, I feel your pain. Speaking of doing dumb things. I recently got into a hot tub/spa with my iPhone 6 in my swimsuit pocket. So it died and I got a new XR. I lost most of my recent photos. I guess I hadn't backed them up. If you haven't done a backup with iTunes or if you didn't have your settings set to back up your data you are out of luck. I can't help you with Facebook. I gave it up a couple of years ago and don't miss it. Well, I do but I am better off without it. I wish I had an answer. I suggest you make a separate post here and also go to an Apple store and see if they can help.

BTW, do not use the tire goo in the can for flat tires. It will ruin the tire pressure sensor in any car from 2007 on. They can be fairly costly to replace just for a flat tire. Better off keeping a spare or a compressor in your car.

Our car came with a compressor that injects the tire goo from the factory. No spare, just call roadside assistance if the tire is ruined

This year while on a camping trip with the RV while leaving and just pulled up to unload the holding tanks a lady that was there on the other side asked me if I could help get her car started. She said she had no problem moving it to the dump station. I got in the car put the foot on the brake and put the car in park -it started right up, boy did she feel foolish. Tried to lessen the embarrassment for her, and told her lots of people do that. And it was she who said maybe women shouldn't drive.

I would love the women to get on and tell stupid things you guys do.

This on is for you Chris.
A friend of mine (70+ female) bought a new Honda, and a few days later left on a five week round the world trip to China and Japan. She ask me to check on the house while she was gone. The first week I went through the house, and knowing how these new cars will run down a battery when not driven, I grabbed the keys, put the garage door up, started and ran the car for a few minutes. All good.
The following week I repeated the process except I didn't grab the keys because I didn't need the them the last time. Nothing! No start. No crank. No nothing. Aw crap, this battery in this new car is dead. I drove to the dealership and talked to the salesman who sold her the car. We talked about battery charge, how to charge a battery in a new car.
The next week I went equipped with an automotive voltage tester and battery charger. The voltage was a little low (which I also know these new cars will not tolerate. Do I hook up the charger and retire to the porch to read the uhh forum. Ok, showing full charge, hit the button, nothing. I pack up and text my globe ttotting friend the bad news.
The day after her arrival home, I got a phone call, and she asks if I can hear her car running. Yes, but how? She said she had the keys in her hand. You don't have to use an ignition key, but you do have to have the key fob in the car. Made my 67 years feel old.
