Pee-Wee, Magpie Lark, it has a few names, depending which part of the country you live in...Magpie Lark is its officail name though. As the Piping Shrike, it's South Australia's State bird and is on our flag.
It was a stinking hot day yesterday and these two buddies came down for a drink. I had the hose on the lawn and my Blackbird buddy came to say Hi and have a fosic for a few juicy bugs..plays havoc with my macro photography though, he's eating all my subjects...
