we are using the old record player/radio, similar to that and I still use the mincer.!

Your eye has caught some fine things. Perhaps post processing could bring out better the essence of each, boosting what is primary, eliminating or toning down what is not.

Love these old things...they were the stepping stone that helped us get to where we are today. Aside from all the political bickering...I'm enjoying life and all the new gadgets I have.

I related to every one of these. The anvil and the clothes wringer and the meat grinder were not part of my household but they were around.

I was at the Smithsonian earlier this year. There was an old guy, older than me, playing records on an old Gramophone for a group of school kids. They were fascinated by it. He asked them where they thought the volume control was on it. Of course there is none. They were kind of amazed.
