Just a few from tonight. The Sun is going down quicker. :(

ERV, good shots. I see one OOF, but you already knew that.
I have the same ornamental "Zebra Grass" that you have in the first photo. If you pick the "plumes" before they curl and sit them in a big vase to dry, then after they curl, spray them with hair spray or spray paint in your choice of colors, they make a beautiful, HUGE boquet. Every year, when we go on vacation, someone comes by and helps themselves to ALL of ours. I suspect a local florist.

I am thinking that does not hurt the plant? Janny will love that. This is the first year for it in the yard. And yes the little bee moved on me, but I still liked it. :) Did you notice the hair on the flower in the last picture in the first post? Now that is good focus!:)I didn't see it till I posted. Fun stuff tho.

WOW! I didn't see that. Looks like a horse hair. Our horses rub some mane and tail hairs out on the fence occasionally and the blue birds and barn swallows get them to line their nests.
NO, we used to cut ALL of the plumes off of the grass. Now someone does it for us and one florist here seems to use a lot of that AND sprigs from the corkscrew willow we have. Need a Corkscrew willow???
We take limbs off of the willow, shred off the leaves, spray them white, gold, red or silver and roll them in glitter while the paint is wet or use spray adhesive to roll the glitter on and put them in Christmas arrangements in our window boxes.
Erv, I just looked back at your hosta blooms. None of mine are white and yours are so close-up, I thought they were some kind of lily! I passed right by them and didn't recognize them.
