Went there for the weekend. Excellent weather for this time of year
Fantastic, inspiring series! Your pics of Gasworks Park are highly creative, the b&w of Chihuly and the Needle quite effective (I've seen a pic in color, still haven't visited yet). The ferry composition has great impact for me. Less is very much "More" in this photo.
Very nice. That first shot would be perfect in a movie.
Very nice photos. A very photogenic place. One of my favorites is the Pike Place Fish Market where customers order fish and the vendors toss the fish to the person that will prepare it. Somewhere on my drive I have a photo of the fish being tossed. The rest of the market is interesting as well. One of my favorite places.
I love the subject mater in 1 and 2. I was having the time of my life at Bethlehem Steel up until someone from Homeland Security invited me to leave. As Linda commented, the ferry composition really stands apart.
Very nice set - good eye!
I miss the Pike Place Market so much. I could set off on my Christmas shopping, keep all the recipients in mind and find each a distinctive gift in 30 minutes and have fried rice at the Tran Sisters stall. I still have my barnyard wool sweater from Peru, the African basket that our cat, Peanut runs to for treats, and dozens of other momentos, some bought at the Market almost 40 years ago. Such a lovely place filled with friendly entrepenuers, visitors to Seattle from all over the world, and locals, all moving through shoulder to shoulder.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Fine group of images, good eye to pick these out.
Thank you all very much. The Gasworks was very cool but we didn’t spend as much time at the market as we would have liked. Definitely be returning.

great set, no.4 looks like a shot from "The War of the Worlds" Film.
Why would anyone in their right mind do a B&W of Chihuly glass???
Very interesting set. The first one is a real stand out!

Doddy, thank you. Hadn’t thought of that but I can see what you mean.
