I wanted to experiment with getting shots with blur. This is the details.
To get this shot I wedged my tripod between the dash and passenger seat in the front of my car and connected the cable release. I used my 7D with the 18-135 lens set a 44mm. After some trial shots the camera was set at ISO 100, f11 @1/4 sec. When I took this shot I was traveling at about 35mph. Some PP to get the image like this (no HDR). The interesting thing was that I could only get the consistent background blur when going around a bend in the road.
Well thatÂ’s the story. What do you think :?:
On the Move
What do I think? I think it is one of the cooler shots I have seen on here in quite awhile.
I love this type of shot, good work.
Very good, ever tried it on a train or is that a "to do"
I'm getting car sick. lol Cool shot
Thanks everyone. I like the contract of moving and still elements in an image. I'll be doing more experimentation because that is the fun of it.
PS: The PP was done on Lightroom 3.
Exceptional photo. Nice work seeSAW.
