Cold weather subjects: The Museum of Art

I have found that our regional Museum of Art (Fort Wayne, Indiana) is a wonderful location for photography, and photographic subjects. The only stipulation reads "Non-flash photography is encouraged, for personal use only" The exhibits are world class, make for assignment based photography, and produce excellent wall hangings. What similar winter activities have other members found?

In Florida the migratory bird season is November to April so I go out for that quite often.

Some areas allow photography inside shopping malls. Window displays can make for fascinating photo ops. See if your mall opens early for walkers. Often the displays will be lit, but you won't have the hassle of shoppers. Also, small antique stores and thrift stores:
