I'm thinking of heading to Pocosin Lakes-Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge areas in Eastern North Carolina. My primary goal is shooting black bears and the large concentrations of tundra swans, snow geese and other water fowl. Anyone else shoot this area? Thoughts? Tips? I've been to the Outer Banks/Nags Head area once, so I'm somewhat familiar with the area.
It’s a beautiful area. Many places to shoot. We live in the area and I drive thru the area often in my travels.
