On September 5th our ship arrived in Warnemunde, Port of Germany. It turned out to be a full day of enjoyable excursions so I will need to do this one in two parts. The 1st part will be a visit to a brick Gothic Church and a ride on the Molli steam-train.
2nd part to be added as quickly as I can behind this one.....and it picks up where the Molli steam-train drops us off in the seaside resort town of Kuhlungsborn on Germany's Baltic Sea in Mecklenburg-Vorpornmen. Enjoy.....& thanks! Bob
(1) Upon our arrival in Warnemunde we took a bus to visit this brick Gothic Church, Doberan Minster.

(2) This is the main Lutheran Church of Bad Doberan in Mecklenburg, Germany. It was once a Monastery.

(3) What remains now is part of the Ex-Cisterian Abbey dedicated in 1368.....with updates! There are some older brick sections close by.

(5) Welcome aboard the Molli Train.....and a bunch of strangers! Several groups arrived about the same time so "all aboard!"

(6) Captured a shot of this house as the train went slowly through the town.

(7) As we went throught the woods I made my way to the front just behind the engine. See the steam! A bit of blurring on these three shots!

(8) Hanging out & looking back as we round a curve in the countryside.

(9) Looking down between the engine & the 1st car.....for some movement!

(10) End of the line.....all out! See you at the seaside resort town of Kuhlungsborn in Part 2 that I hope to do quickly!
