Sony RX100 VI question

I just got my wife a Sony RX 100 VI for Christmas. . .early. I have a Canon 5D. When I take a picture with the Canon, I can view it immediately on the rear screen for several seconds (you can set the time), I cannot find a way to do this on the Sony without using the arrow (view) button. Am I missing something? Thanks for your help. We both love the camera and this is not a deal breaker, but would be nice to view just taken images quicker.

It's possible I just go to the play button to view the image, but if you go into the menu and scroll through it, there is probably a place where you can click view image and how much time you want to view it after taking the picture. This is my fourth RX100 and the best yet; the camera is really good considering how small it is, but I do get a bit stymied by Sony's defaults and menus sometimes. Good luck

Press menu button on back of camera, scroll to the gear icon, press multifunction switch down 1, the press MFB to right the gear menu #2. First choice is Auto Review. Press selector and choose time from 10, 5, 2 sec. Yours must be on OFF.

I love my lil Sony as well, however, trust Sony to make such a simple task difficult...

Photographer's Guide to the Sony Dsc-Rx100 VI: Getting the Most from Sony's Advanced Compact Camera by Alexander White is a very good (maybe even necessary) reference guide. $29.95 from Amazon.

I have the book by Gary Friedman in .PDF And he writes books on just about every Sony camera. I found his very thorough and helpful.
With this camera you can get into it as deep as possible.
I've had mine for almost a year now and am still learning from his suggestions.
