If you have thick skin and can take helpful critiques without letting your ego get involved (very difficult) then I'd ALSO suggest the shark tank forum on lightstalking.com.
The guiding principle of the ST is that the critiques are supposed to be negative BUT actually helpful and detailed with suggestions for improvement. Although comments such as "great shot" "beautiful" etc are discouraged as meaningless (but nice to receive), praise supported by info on what makes it praiseworthy does sneak in sometimes. I usually try to say what the photog has done right before suggesting whats wrong and suggesting ways to fix it.

Thank you Larry! Happy to be here! Everyone seems to agree that the Rebel series is a good starter and lots of fun!

If you have thick skin and can take helpful critiq... (show quote)

Thanks for the suggestion; will take a peak and maybe just start by reviewing their eye and following suggestions for a while then maybe give a few submissions and see if how thick skinned I really am, though I have, in other areas, been very receptive of negative criticism because we should always learn from out mistakes. Again thanks!
