Manhattan Street Art

Hi. One of the things I enjoy photographing are the many scenes one can find in urban areas. When I saw this on a Manhattan street, the grunginess and the way the face was framed by construction scaffolding made me think it might make for an interesting image. What do you think? Interesting or just a snapshot?

While I like the photo I think it would have been more impressive if you had shown more of the area surrounding the painting. For me, that would be the photograph. While the picture submitted is very nice and impressive, the entire area where the painting is located would be more desirable. I hope that makes sense.

Yes it does make sense, but I can't remember what the surrounding area looked like. My intent, with the framing, was to make the face the primary subject and to have the eyes led there by the frame. Perhaps a crop less tight might have worked also.
