Are you talking about Melody Patterson (Wrangler Jane)? She passed away in 2015. She was 66.

I was not allowed to watch F Troop merely because of the title. The few times I watched it before it was banned it was hilarious. Great comic actors, including Ken Berry. Ofc, my parents also thought Leave it to Beaver made the parents look bad, but at least it wasn't banned. I think they were wrong.

My parents were not what you would call Bible thumpers, but were just conservative and moral, as were many people of their era. The objection was primarily to the title of the show.

When I was in high school we had a first year history teacher who could have doubled for Ken. We gave him too much grief. Calling our class “F Troop”. Too many creative folks are going away!
