Shot my first gallery for basketball last night.
Settings: Nikon D500 & D4 using 85mm 1.8 for the most part. I just got the lens and wanted to try it out. Most shots were: 1/1000 at 3.2 or 2.8. Shutter priority or manual.
Iso 8,000 yikes. Could have been a bit sharper. Got to get use to the lens. Next game I will use the 24-70 2.8 and the 50mm 1.8. I know the gym has much better lighting. Iso should come in around 5000 if I remember from last year.

Great shots! Glad to see you are trying the new lens. Did you give it a shot
at f2 and 1/640th, seems iso would be a little better for you. Might get you
under iso 2000. All depends on how dark these gyms are for you!

The gym I am shooting in tonight is well lit. So I definable will try some different things with the 85mm. Last week iso 8000 this week 5000 at the most.
