You need to read something about Trump that he didn't dictate. I haven't really followed her, but I wouldn't believe any quotes I read or see, or hear on Right Wing Media.

I see stuff like that but a lot of smart people haven't changed their minds, and every time I see an actual interview, she seems OK. I haven't put a lot of work into evaluating because there is nothing I can change if I really am really impressed or if my reaction is OMG. I think wait and see. I'm pretty sure that Louie Gohmert is OK. His title as "Dumbest person in Congress" isn't being threatened. It will be great if she turns out to be the star some see when they look at her, but if not, she is one freshman congressman. If she is a disaster, her term is 2 years. I haven't seen enough to be impressed, but I haven't seen anything that worries me. Gohmert is already there. He isn't taking his medication, and his constituents are going to elect him again next time.

"The news" is pretty generic. Did you have any particular sources in mind? Don't be defensive. I'm not suggesting that I know what sources you use. I could make some guesses, but that would be counter productive, and ignorant on my part.
