Travels With Bob.......Copenhagen, Denmark

Upon leaving Amsterdam we began our 14 day cruise through The Baltic Sea on Sept 4th. 2018. 1st stop.....Copenhagen, capital of Denmark, where we boarded a bus for a day of touring. Taking pictures through a bus window doesn't appeal to me so will share some taken while we were off the bus! Our ship returned to another spot in Denmark closer to the end of our cruise which I'll share later. Bob
(1) Arriving by ship in Copenhagen.

(2) A must see.....The Little Mermaid.....a bronze sculpture.

(3) Amalienborg, home to the Royal Family Palace. This is where Queen Margrethe ll resides. It's her winter residence so she wasn't here in September.

(4) To the left of the Queens Palace is another one where her son & family live. He was there and here's a couple of his Royal Guards. A car had just entered through the opening.

(5) These palaces are located on a large plaza with several structures. Had to back up to capture the home of the Crown Prince of Denmark, Prince Frederik of Copenhagen.

(6) Another colorful canal boat tour.....a great way to explore some of these European cities.

Thanks PixelStan77......for checking out my Copenhagen series. Glad you enjoyed the experience. We actually did this in September, but its taken me awhile to get around to posting this "photo story" & it will continue as this was day one of the cruise part. 1st 3 days were spent in Amsterdam. It was a wonderful trip & of course many photos were captured! Much appreciated, Bob

Like the images, Bob. After our Danube trip this year, our group is looking into a Baltic Cruise so please, keep the images and storyline coming.
